With the acquisition of Laborlink in 2017, I had the opportunity to join ELEVATE’s global team and support the integration of our worker engagement technology into their growing suite of supply chain services. This partnership was a success, making the Laborlink platform available to over 4.5 million workers around the world while providing ELEVATE’s customers with greater transparency into their sourcing markets.

As the new creative lead in the San Francisco office, my role quickly expanded from Laborlink to cover ELEVATE’s corporate communications, branding, and marketing. My primary focus was on content development and communications design, but I also developed an integrated marketing strategy to map our customer lifecycle, increase engagement levels across our digital channels, nurture leads with email marketing, and deliver qualified leads to our sales team.

Web design and UX — Collaborated with engineering using Figma to redesign blog pages, event pages, EiQ analytics landing page, and homepage hero banners. Supported the development of user personas as part of a UX strategy to optimize ELEVATE webpages, resulting in improved SEO, deeper engagements, and increased product inquiries.

Program design Provided creative support for industry partnerships and initiatives that are addressing forced labor risk in Malaysia and developing worker helplines in Bangladesh.

Graphic design Created in-house graphics for logos, iconography, and digital collateral across the ELEVATE website and social media pages as well as presentation decks and one-pagers.

Event marketing and design — Redesigned the event webpages (e.g. Sustainable Tourism Asia 2019) to highlight speakers, sponsors, and provide a mobile-friendly agenda. Provided graphic design support for event materials, banners, table tents, and marketing materials.

Data-driven content — Collaborated with our company’s subject matter experts to produce data-driven content to further position ELEVATE as a thought leader in responsible sourcing. Creative content included weekly blogs, case studies, podcasts, country profiles, webinars, and sustainability reports.

Launching the ELEVATE Insights newsletter

Email marketing strategy resulted in increased click rates, deeper engagement, prospect segmentation, a greater understanding of the customer lifecycle, and a growing audience of 25,000+ subscribers.
